A legacy of partnership.
A commitment to growth.
About FCE
Fortune Chase Equestrian was founded on a simple belief: great results begin with great partnership.
Alli is an EC Licensed coach with over 25 years of experience and a background in education. Her program blends technical expertise with compassionate mentorship. What began as a passion for teaching—both in the classroom and in the barn—evolved into a full-time commitment to developing confident riders and happy, healthy horses.
The name Fortune Chase honours the horses who shaped this journey—those who taught resilience, patience, grit, and gratitude. Their legacy lives on in every partnership we develop. Learn more about “Chase” and “Flip” below!
Every horse is an individual athlete. Every rider brings unique strengths, goals, and challenges. Our coaching focuses on understanding both—then developing a program that supports them as a pair.
We are committed to growth—of horse, rider, and ourselves.
The horses that carried us here.
Alli’s past and present rides have show names that connect to themes of Good Fortune including “Lucky Gamble”, “Opportunity Knocks” and “Fortunate Fate”.
Chase is a very special horse to Alli. He is a thoroughbred with incredible heart and kindness, and left a huge mark on her heart. He is 25 years old this year, and is currently retired and living his best life with a former student of Alli’s in Michigan.
Chase
Flip was another incredibly special horse to Alli. Flip was a spirited Morgan x Thoroughbred that she brought along and evented up to the 2 star level. Never a dull moment with this gelding, he taught Alli so many lessons about riding, horses and life. Flip had a paddock accident and was euthanized in 2019, but his spirit lives on. His show name, Fortuitous, means Good Fortune, which is the ‘Fortune’ of Fortune Chase Equestrian.

Opportunity Knocks, known in the barn as Mr.T, is a 10 year old (2016) Thoroughbred gelding. He had a brief racing career and has since been with Alli and has competed up to 1.10m jumpers, preliminary eventing and 1st level dressage. Alli affectionately calls him Saint T, Doctor T, King T, Perfect T or Sir T, and he sure lives up to those names.
Mr.T is always up for an adventure. He loves his trailer rides and never knows where he’ll end up - it could be cross country schooling, hacking, camping, Angelstone for the jumper ring, a dressage show, an eventing competition, or dressage lessons. He is always happy and willing to go along with whatever Alli has planned. This horse truly has a heart of gold, and has earned many adoring fans along his journey.
Although Mr.T has been kind, willing, honest and a joy to be around from day one, like all of her horses, he continues to teach her new things. When Mr.T was diagnosed with EPM and significant neck arthritis in 2025, Alli had to dig deep with her amazing vet and farrier to problem solve and help T as best she could. With the use of red lights, Bemer, balance pads, vet and farrier work, correct dressage work, hill and pole work, and ground work, Mr.T has been improving and feeling fantastic. Alli will always listen to Mr.T, and is hopeful to continue to improve his strength and compete together this season.
